WHAT OUR SET OF HOME PLAN DRAWINGS INCLUDE:

DDCL construction drawings are detailed, clear and concise. All drawings are designed and signed by registered architects and engineers, and are designed to meet the National Building Code of Ghana.

The designs include the following elements, but the presentation of these elements may vary depending on the size and complexity of the house:

·     FLOOR PLANS: Show the placement of interior walls and the dimensions for rooms, doors, windows, stairways etc., of each level of the house.

·     SITE AND BLOCK PLANS: Note that we prefer you send us the actual cadastral site plan, for the preparation of the site and block plans to suit the site. Any significant changes in design necessitated by the nature of the site for example accentuated slope etc.shall attract 30% additional charges. 

·        FOUNDATION PLANS: Include all required drawings from footing

     to slab. All necessary notations and dimensions are included.

·     EXTERIOR ELEVATIONS: Show the front, rear and sides of the house

·     ROOF DETAILS: Show slope, roof design and any other features.

·     ELECTRICAL: Show the suggested locations for switches, fixtures and outlets.

·     PLUMBING: Show the location for fixtures.

·     CROSS SECTIONS: Show details of the house as though it were cut in slices from the roof to the foundation. The cross sections specify the home’s construction, flooring and roof details.

·     GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS: Provide general instructions and information regarding the structure, excavation and grading, reinforcement, concrete work and masonry and carpentry and wood, flooring, tiling, glazing etc.

·     SCHEDULE OF MATERIALS: Details the quantity, type and size of basic materials needed to build the house. This list is helpful in acquiring an accurate construction estimate. (However, a complete bill of quantities required for a contractor to cost for a negotiated contract to build a house  may be obtained upon request at an additional cost).

·     REVISIONS, MODIFICATIONS, & CUSTOMIZING:  our variety of designs available allows you to choose a house plan that best suits your lifestyle, budget, and size of land. We are available to help with revisions, modifications, and customization that you may require.
