GENERAL INFORMATION
The company was incorporated in 1991 in Ghana. The company’s registered office is House Number F111/4 Ostwe Link, Arko Adjei/Nyaneba Estates, in Accra. However its office is presently located on Mango Street, Asylum Down in Accra. In 1999 it was incorporated in the United States of America with a registered office at 6000 Stevenson Avenue, Suite#207, Alexandria, VA 22304 USA.
Desbuild is a founding member of the Ghana Real Estate Developers Association (GREDA) an accredited organization involved in the development of housing units for Ghanaians both resident at home and abroad.

• Standard and Quality

The houses we design are contemporary, environmentally responsive, low budget, and healthy to live in. When built they are sound, secure and safe because our design and building team consists of knowledgeable professionals and artisans. We undertake custom built houses on clients’ own plot of land as well as on our plot of land if available based either on our designs or the clients’ requirements. We design and build houses with uniquely individualized character. Each house design comes in four cost categories, carcass, standard, deluxe and executive.

• House Types

The house types range from two to six bedrooms. We have over the years developed a portfolio of more than fifty house types. We are always on the look out for innovative and appropriate technologies, materials and management techniques to improve the quality of our designs, and shorten delivery time of house plans as well as houses.

• Experience

The company has over the past seven years embarked on a vigorous promotional and marketing drive to sell house plans on its own as well as by participating in most GREDA activities both at home and abroad notably GREDA Housing Shows and GREDA Housing Road Shows.

However these promotional and marketing drives exposed Desbuild to the opportunities in providing house plans to sell and the company is desirous and fully prepared to participate in this market by itself as well as in association with other developers.

We have over the past years provided services as environment development consultants to some GREDA members, organizations as well as individuals.

• Chairman/CEO

Kobla Tamakloe (MGA), Architect/Builder, is the Managing Director of Desbuild Development Company Ltd and the Principal Consultant of Tamakloe Associates. Kobla Tamakloe’s experience includes new designs and construction, renovation and re-modeling of existing buildings. He has exceptional design abilities and leadership skill and has been the team leader and co-coordinator for a variety of projects of different sizes. His international experience has been gained as a result of educational and business trips to Burkina Faso, Togo, Nigeria, Cote d’voire, Senegal, Britain, Switzerland, Finland, Estonia, Germany, South Africa, Egypt, the Canary Islands, Canada and the United States of America, aimed at learning and acquiring appropriate new and innovative design methods as well as cost effective building materials and methods of construction, have made him an invaluable and knowledgeable architect/builder.
